Discover Avoiding Some of the Pitfalls of the First Novel: Where do I find Answers to Questions I Have Not Yet Even Asked? by R. Clint Peters. Start reading today and explore ideas, insights, and experiences that stay with you.

Overview: Excellent advice for the first time authorWhen I first reviewed a book for Mr. Peters, I just passed on to him lessons that I had learned through several writing courses I took through Writer’s Digest and I have shelves of books on how to write. Because of Mr. Peters’ struggles and trial and error, which he sets forth very honestly and succinctly in this pamphlet, he is alerting a first time author that writing a successful, sellable story is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of having the imagination and the guts to really work HARD. I just read this pamphlet and I think it tells it all in a nutshell. It is like a first grader reader for a child. It hits the basics and includes the pitfalls that any artist faces. I asked for a copy of this book and I am thrilled to give this review.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Still a good book.

I liked it for the most part. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. A solid 4 stars from me.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. A solid 5/5 for me.
