Overview: Z wykształcenia jestem socjolożką. Od 15 lat pracuję w internecie –pisząc książki, prowadząc bloga i promując swoją pracęw mediach społecznościowych.W pewnym momencie zauważyłam, że jest mi coraz trudniej skupić się na pisaniu. Nie da się napisać dobrej książki, kiedy nasz dzień szatkują powiadomienia, a telefon kusi, żeby go odblokować i sprawdzić komentarze pod ostatnim postem na Instagramie.Musiałam na nowo poukładać swoją relacjęz social mediami. Wytyczyć im jasne granice. Inaczej wlałyby mi się w każdy zakamarek codzienności - w końcu do tego zostały zaprojektowane. Wyrobić sobie zdrowe cyfrowe nawyki, które mnie wspierają i które mogę dostosować do zmieniającej się sytuacji życiowej. Przeczytałam masę książek, badań, odsłuchałam setki godzin podcastówi przetestowałam dziesiątki rozwiązań na sobiei innych. Mój wniosek: nie jest łatwo, ale da się.Przeraża mnie, że jest to problem, który tak mocno i tak negatywnie kształtuje naszą codzienność, a przywiązujemy do niego tak małą wagę. Machamy ręką, mówimy: „Wszyscy tak robią”. Może zrobimy jakiś weekendowy detoks offline, po czym wracamy do starych nawyków.Nie ma we mnie zgody na taką rzeczywistość. Na to, żeby telefon kradł nam kilkanaście lat życia (taki trend pokazują obecne statystyki!). Żeby twórcy ekonomii uwagi dla zysku rujnowali nasze zdrowie psychiczne, możliwości umysłowe i relacje. Zwłaszcza że skoro tak trudno jest nam, dorosłym, to jak druzgocący wpływ ma to na dzieci i młodzież.Dlatego napisałam o tym książkę. Zatytułowałam ją „Ekonomia uwagi. Jak nie przescrollować sobie życia?”, bo sama bardzo nie chciałabym pod koniec życia obudzić sięz przeświadczeniem, że przeleciało mi przez palce.

I liked it for the most part. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Really enjoyed this one. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

A very satisfying read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
