Overview: An excerpt from the Introduction: In My Basket: The Cookbook is more than just a folio of recipes. Having for many years, written a column by the same name for the Star Week Magazine, the Sunday supplement of the Philippine Star, I have become sensitive to the many and varied needs, particularly of the working homemaker. Good, but not quite perfect. It held my attention, even if a few things were a little predictable. Not bad at all.

Such a great read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Will be looking for more from this author.

I was pleasantly surprised. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Worth the time and money.
