Overview: Pe 30 octombrie 2015, în clubul Colectiv din București a izbucnit un incendiu, în timpul unui concert al trupei rock Goodbye to Gravity. 186 de persoane au fost rănite, iar numărul morților a ajuns la 65. A fost cel mai grav incident de acest fel din România postdecembristă. Alexandra Furnea avea 27 de ani când a fost rănită în Colectiv. Am încercat să descriu felul în care am fost abandonați de sistemul medical după ce am scăpat din acele sălașuri ale suferinței. Am ținut să vă am alături în drumul anevoios, niciodată încheiat, spre recuperare. Căci viața nu a mers înainte după tragedie, ci s-a oprit acolo, în cenușa din container, și a fost înlocuită cu o altă existență, într-un alt trup, dependent pentru totdeauna de proceduri medicale și operații. Am sperat că voi izbuti să vă fac să trăiți alături de mine toate acestea pentru că doar împreună putem să dăm sens și coerență ororilor din acele zile și din anii care le-au urmat. Și, nu în ultimul rând, nădăjduiesc că vă veți regăsi în patimile mele, ca victime ale corupției, din cauza căreia aproape fiecare român are un Colectiv al său. Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. Enjoyable weekend read.

Finished it in a couple of days. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Would probably read it again at some point.

Such a great read. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

A very satisfying read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. A solid 5/5 for me.
