Overview: Sheh Hilmi Maliqi konsiderohet njëri ndër përfaqësuesit kryesorë të letërsisë së bejtexhinjve në trojet shqiptare jashtë Shqipërisë politike. Gjatë dyzet viteve të veprimit të tij në Rahovec, Hilmi Maliqi zhvilloi një veprimtari letrare mjaft të begatshme, si në prozë ashtu edhe në poezi.Dorëshkrimet e mbetura dëshmojnë qartazi se kemi të bëjmë me një veprimtar të frytshëm. Ka shkruar në gjuhen shqipe, por me alfabet arab. Kjo tregon shkallën e lartë të vetëdijes së tij kombëtare e intelektuale që e cilësonte Hilmi Maliqin dhe që kërkonte nga ai angazhimin e sinqertë për arsimimin e bashkëkombësve në gjuhën amtare. Këtë e thoshte edhe ai vetë: "Ky fakiri Abdylmaliq Hilmi ket azimet te evradi Alis me ju diftu manan shqip vllazënve të dinit për me marr vesh ma kallaj..." Finished it in a couple of days. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Will be looking for more from this author.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. A solid 5/5 for me.
