Sie trägt eine Leidenschaft für die Möglichkeiten von HipHop in sich und hat Spaß an der politischen Artikulation. Von Anpassung oder Anbiederung an dominanzmännliche Maßstäbe: kaum eine Spur. Feministische Werte und Praxen wie Wertschätzung, Selbstbestimmung und Intersektionalität gehen in Form von Songs auf Demos, Partys und Konzerten sowie in zahlreichen Biografien auf. In »Awesome HipHop Humans« teilen Menschen, die sich mit Queer_Fem_Rap befassen und identifizieren, ihre Erfahrungen, Politisierungsprozesse, biografischen Einlassungen, subkulturellen Netzwerke und diskursiven Reflexionen. Es ist eine Bestandsaufnahme dessen, was sich an unterschiedlichen Orten im HipHop niederschlägt und was nur danach schreit, gelebt, argumentiert, gehört, wertgeschätzt und dokumentiert zu werden.Die Beiträge schreiben die Geschichte sowohl von HipHop als auch von Feminismen fort. Sie machen etwas zugänglich, das bislang als Recherchegrundlage nicht zur Verfügung stand.
