Overview: Eighty years ago on October 24, 1936 two people pledged their love -- for each other, but also for their country and for humanity. They left a legacy of courage and resilience. Glad someone recommended this to me. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Worth the time and money.

Finished it in a couple of days. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Will be looking for more from this author.
