Overview: About the Book Books about Teaching Methods discuss the principles used by teachers in educational institutions. Different teaching approaches are recommended for different subject areas, and have varied over the centuries. Examples of these titles include: A History of Education, A History of Education During the Middle Ages, the History of Educational Theories, A Method of Teaching Chemistry in Schools, Essays on Mathematical Education, Methods of Teaching Gymnastics, Religious Teaching in Secondary Schools, Story-Telling, Questioning and Studying, Three School Arts, The Teaching of History, Young boys and boarding-school, and The philosophy of school management. Also in this Book Books that are Study Guides are used by students to improve their ability to assimilate knowledge in educational courses that they undertake, and may impart technical skills as well as time management and test strategies. Titles include: Algebra Made Easy, College Requirements in English Entrance Examinations, Famous Problems of Elementary Geometry, Special Method in Arithmetic, and How to Teach American History: A Handbook for Teachers and Students. And in this Book Books on Education examine the process of transferring knowledge, skills, and beliefs to students. This is generally undertaken in educational institutions where teachers or trainers impart the knowledge viastructured programs, but may also be achieved through "self-teaching" by the student. The usual progression is through middle and high school, to college and / or university. The act of teaching is called pedagogy. Books in this category are about the institutions or teaching techniques: Common Sense in School Supervision, Education by Plays and Games, Habit and Its Importance in Education, Notes on the History of Trinity College, Cambridge, Universities and Scientific Life in the United States, Three Lectures on Liberal Education, Yale Yarns; Sketches of Life at Yale University. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Will be looking for more from this author.

It was just alright. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.
