Overview: Prof. Karam Tej Singh Sarao secured first class first in M.A. (History) from Delhi University in the year 1979. Thereafter he also did his M.Phil. (Chinese & Japanese Studies) and Ph.D. from Delhi University. Prof. Sarao secured his second doctorate from the University of Cambridge (U.K.) where he worked as a Commonwealth Scholar from 1985 to 1989. After having taught for over a decade at the prestigious Kirori Mal College of Delhi University, Prof. Sarao joined the Department of Buddhist Studies (Delhi University) in 1993 where at present he is the Professor Head. Professor Sarao has authored eight books and has over 40 research papers and articles to his credit. He has taught as a visiting professor at various Universities in the U.K., Canada, Germany and Singapore and has read research papers in over a dozen international conferences in Germany, France, U.K., Canada, USA, Singapore, Taiwan, Holland and Austria.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Will be looking for more from this author.

Really enjoyed this one. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

A very satisfying read. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. Would probably read it again at some point.
