Overview: El libro “El Partido Comunista de España y la literatura (1931-1977). Once estudios sobre escritores, intelectuales y política” del catedrático Manuel Aznar Soler nace al calor del Centenario del PCE (1921-2021) y se propone como una obra fundamental para conocer a autores y autoras que fueron militantes del Partido Comunista de España, entre los cuales mencionamos a Rafael Alberti, Federico Álvarez Arregui, Marcos Ana, César Arconada, Juan Chabás, Miguel Hernández, José Herrera Petere, María Teresa León, Pascual Pla y Beltrán, Julián Antonio Ramírez, Juan Rejano, Josep Renau, Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez y Jorge Semprún. La publicación será la primera de este Centenario que viene, pues el PCE va a ser protagonista de muchos títulos por diversas editoriales. La editorial Atrapasueños ha manifestado recientemente en una carta dirigida al Secretario General del PCE, Enrique Santiago, su felicitación por este centenario y su disponibilidad para ayudar en esta conmemoración de un partido que fue clave para entender la defensa de la libertad y la democracia. El libro sale en preventa (reserva de ejemplares) desde el 30 de enero de 2020 y saldrá de imprenta a primeros de febrero de 2021 y será una edición numerada.Una obra fundamental de cerca de 700 páginas que como señala su autor, “es el resultado de una selección de estudios publicados en un periodo que comprende veinte años, entre 1997 y 2017. It was just alright. Some parts were interesting, while others were a bit of a slog to get through. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

I liked it for the most part. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. A solid 4 stars from me.
