Overview: Nu mai e nimeni între Ruxandra Novac și Antonia Mihăilescu la care rafalele de notații, trase în enunțuri cât mai scurte și mai pregnante, să fie atât de electrizate de iritare, angoasă și exasperare. În cazul Antoniei Mihăilescu, mi se pare limpede că avem de-a face cu o panteră. O tânără panteră, care-și explorează și ia în stăpânire teritoriul: veșnic în alertă, la pândă chiar și atunci când pare că doarme, agresivă și retractilă, puternică și fragilă și, în primul rând, solitară. Teritoriul pe care îl cercetează și apropriază e propria viață. Adică, lucrurile care i s-au întâmplat până acum. Apoi, lucrurile care se întâmplă în jurul ei, realitatea agresivă care nu are cum să nu ne afecteze. În al doilea rând, e vorba de poetic. De negocierea dintre acesta și „poetic”, de retrasarea, valabilă în cazul oricărui poet adevărat, a graniței mereu schimbătoare dintre ele. În al treilea rând, și aici devin ușor neliniștit, ea intră în tipologia poetului tânăr, superb, în sensul etimologic, latin: războinicul (indiferent de gen) care se aruncă cu pieptul înainte în toate bătăliile, fără să pară a-i păsa de rezultatul lor. Not bad, but not my favorite. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.

Finished it in a couple of days. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

I liked it for the most part. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Still a good book.
