Overview: 1982 - 1983 ders yılından itibaren Hukuk Fakültelerinde Hukuk Felsefesi ve Hukuk Sosyolojisi Dersleri "zorunlu dersler" olarak okutulmaya başlandı. Hukuk kavramının öz, esas ve mahiyetini incelemeden; hukukun ne olduğunu anlamadan hukuk metinleri içine girmek büyük sakıncalar yaratır. Adalet kavramının niteliğini bilmeden, anlamını kavramadan, üzerinde yapılan tartışmaları değerlendirmeden yargıç, savcı, avukat olup "adalet dağıtmak" veya "adaleti savunmak" olanaksızdır. Keza ülkemizin toplumsal yapısını bilmeden, çağdaş toplumsal gelişmeleri incelemeden hukukçu olmak da kanımızca söz konusu olamaz. Hukuk Felsefesinin ve Hukuk Sosyolojisinin incelenmemesi, hukukçuları pozitivist hukuk anlayışına götürür. Hukukta pozitivizm, pozitif hukuk normunun incelenmesiyle yetinen, her yaptırımla donatik pozitif kuralı "hukuk" kabul eden hukuk felsefesi akımıdır. Darülfünun Üniversiteye dönüştürülürken, büyük Atatürk, Avrupa'da ün yapmış bilim adamlarını Türkiye'ye davet etmiş ve Üniversitelerde dersler verdirmiştir. Felsefenin öneminin yüksek bilincinde olan Mustafa Kemal, bu dalda da değerli öğretim üyelerini getirtmişti. O, daha Harp Okulu yıllarında Aydınlanma çağı düşünürlerinin yapıtlarının çoğunu Fransızca asıllarından okumuş, hukuk görüşünü doğal "hukukçu", sosyolojik görüşünü "A. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. A solid 5/5 for me.
