Overview: On the ranch for about six months, Lucas faces hostility from the two hired hands and discovers a woman and her son living in a remote cabin on his property. Who were they? A solid read. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

I was pleasantly surprised. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Would probably read it again at some point.
