Overview: Tafsir Surah Al-A’raf dan Juzuk 8 adalah sebahagian daripada Tafsir Al-Azhar. Ia adalah hasil karya terbesar ulama agung nusantara iaitu Profesor Dr. Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah ataupun lebih dikenali sebagai HAMKA. HAMKA menggunakan beberapa metode dalam penyusunan tafsir ini antaranya adalah metode tahlili (analisis), tafsir Al-Quran dengan Al-Quran, Tafsir Al-Quran dengan hadith, tafsir Al-Quran dengan pendapat sahabat dan tabi’in, dan tafsir Al-Quran dengan tafsir muktabar yang lain.
