Overview: Cel puţin trei generaţii de scriitori români contemporani, reunite sub plapuma aceluiaşi titlu, stau la Poveşti erotice româneşti, Ed. Trei, 2007, într-o antologie însumând 17 texte inedite, de toată mâna. De la patriarhul Emil Brumaru la junele Dan Sociu, fără să le uităm pe cele trei graţii — Claudia Golea, Doina Ruşti şi Cecilia Ştefănescu —, toată lumea are ceva de spus (unii) sau de ascuns (alţii), şi nu fetele sunt neapărat cele mai timide. Per ansamblu însă, doar câteva texte ar necesita o bulinuţă roşie, unul singur — "Sâmbătă seara” de Dan Sociu, autorul poemelor eXcesive — frizând pornografia. La celălalt capăt al arcului voltaic, Ştefan Agopian surprinde, într-un text ce se vrea o replică românească a Micului dejun la Tiffany de Truman Capote, momentul declanşator al sensibilităţii, încă infantile, dar nu mai puţin tulburătoare: “Stăteam cu spatele la Meli şi priveam spre o groapă în care erau aruncate mii de cioburi de oglindă (...) Brusc, în cioburile alea s-au reflectat chiloţii, puţin murdari de gudron, ai iubitei mele de zece ani.” Nici fetele nu se lasă mai prejos, doar că iniţierea are loc mai degrabă la iniţiativa micuţelor Lolite, fie că este vorba de Sabina din “Ţâţe”-le Doinei Ruşti (“Ea îi strânsese între degete mâna caldă şi o trăsese puţin mai jos, privindu-l şi umflându-şi la refuz pieptul devastat”), fie că vine din partea fetiţei de 8 ani din “Cuprinsă de somn şi încă neadormită” de Cecilia Ştefănescu (“Şi-a înfundat automat capul în poala lui, l-a cuprins cu braţele după şolduri, şi-a înfundat faţa în pantalonii lui, sărutându-i, şi l-a simţit mişcând, a simţit limpede cum a dorit-o...”). ... şi n-am făcut decât să mă apropii, cu paşi mărunţi, de capodopera volumului, “Domnişoara Bovary” de Ioan Groşan, în care o strănepoată a eroinei lui Flaubert dă nas în nas cu Nicu Ceauşescu. Altfel spus, după o duzină de poveşti erotice, tot une histoire d’amour te răvăşeşte.

Ştefan Agopian writes contemporary fiction and has always been fascinated by character-driven stories. They hold a degree in English Literature and previously worked as an editor before transitioning to writing their own books. Ştefan Agopian lives with their spouse and a very vocal rescue cat.
Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

It was just alright. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Just right down the middle.
