Overview: Why should we care about the education of privileged white students? Conversations about education in America focus near-exclusively on underprivileged, majority-minority schools for many important reasons. What Does Injustice Have to Do With Me?, however, argues that such efforts cannot succeed in creating a more just and equitable society without also addressing the students who benefit from America's educational, economic and racial inequities. These young people grow up to wield disproportionate power and influence, yet emerge undereducated and poorly prepared to navigate, let alone shape, our increasingly diverse country. A very satisfying read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Worth the time and money.

I was pleasantly surprised. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Will be looking for more from this author.

I have mixed feelings about this one. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Just right down the middle.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Glad I picked this up.

Such a great read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Would probably read it again at some point.
