Overview: This study is concerned with the acquisition of intonation by German/English bilingual children. Nucleus placement, pitch movement and intonational phrasing were analysed on both the phonetic and the phonological level. The analysis was carried out using both the tonetic (British) and the ToBI transcription systems. The sequence of acquisition and aspects of language representation during language acquisition are described.

Good, but not quite perfect. It held my attention, even if a few things were a little predictable. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

It was okay. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
