Overview: Susan Cerulean’s memoir trains a naturalist’s eye and a daughter’s heart on the lingering death of a beloved parent from dementia. At the same time, the book explores an activist’s lifelong search to be of service to the embattled natural world. Glad someone recommended this to me. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Worth the time and money.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Will be looking for more from this author.
