S.E. Hinton writes contemporary fiction and has always been fascinated by character-driven stories. They hold a degree in English Literature and previously worked as an editor before transitioning to writing their own books. S.E. Hinton lives with their spouse and a very vocal rescue cat.

Finished it in a couple of days. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Such a great read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Will be looking for more from this author.
