Overview: Door de eeuwen heen is het een fascinerende ontmoeting geweest: de kennismaking van Europese reizigers met de religieuze cultuur van India. Wat in eerste instantie als vreemd en verwerpelijk werd beschouwd, kwam bij nader inzien dichterbij. Wat gelijk bleef in al die eeuwen van ontmoeting was in ieder geval de fascinatie voor een religie die zo heel anders en niettemin zo boeiend was.

Glad someone recommended this to me. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Good, but not quite perfect. It held my attention, even if a few things were a little predictable. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.
