Overview: Bedienungsanleitungen sind Alltagstexte. Die sprachwissenschaftliche Aufarbeitung konzentrierte sich allerdings bisher auf deren aktuelles Erscheinungsbild. Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es daher, anhand eines Textkorpus mit authentischen Bedienungsanleitungen von 1900 bis 1999 ein historisches Profil der Textsorte von der Herausbildung bis heute zu rekonstruieren.Die gewonnenen Ergebnisse werden anschließend für allgemeinere Aussagen zu Textsortenwandel und zum Wandel fachsprachlicher Erscheinungsformen genutzt. Im Mittelpunkt der Analyse steht die Textsorte als sprachlich-kommunikative Einheit. Dazu gehören die funktionalen Eigenschaften, die beteiligten Kommunikanten sowie die Kommunikationssituation. Glad someone recommended this to me. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
