Overview: Buku ini merupakan pembaikan pada terbitan yang terdahulu di bawah tajuk Tatabahasa Dewan Edisi Baharu. Dalam edisi ini, terdapat pertambahan dua unsur, iaitu kata adverba dan wacana. Buku ini ialah hasil kajian tatabahasa bahasa Melayu yang komprehensif; boleh menjadi pegangan para guru, pensyarah, penulis, pegawai dan pengguna bahasa Melayu yang ingin mendalami pengetahuan mereka tentang tatabahasa bahasa Melayu. Kandungan buku ini memberi tumpuan pada aspek pembentukan perkataan dan pembinaan ayat. Berbagai-bagai aspek binaan ayat dan perkataan, iaitu dari segi pola, bentuk, jenis, struktur binaannya dan bahagian komponennya dihuraikan dengan terperinci. Setiap huraian disertakan dengan contoh bagi menjelaskan lagi bentuk-bentuk perkataan dan ayat dengan sebaik-baiknya. I was pleasantly surprised. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
