Overview: It’s vacation time for Harper Harlow and her boyfriend Jared Monroe. They have big plans to head to northern Lower Michigan for a wine tasting event – which happens to be close to a small town called Shadow Lake – and they’re even taking Zander and Shawn along for the ride. In Shadow Lake, Ivy Morgan finds herself in a good mood. It’s officially the start of morel season (her favorite holiday) and she knows exactly how she’s going to spend the next three weeks of her life, much to her fiancé Jack Harker’s chagrin. Glad someone recommended this to me. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. A solid 5/5 for me.

It was just alright. It had some good moments, but the overall plot felt a bit disjointed in the second half. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

A very satisfying read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
