Overview: The marvelous Mythological Epic of the King Yayati teaches us many moral stories which give simple solutions for rising above the desires of lust, anger, and greed. This mythological story teaches the differences between the Quests for Immorality and Immortality through the seven most memorable characters being King Yayati, Devayani, Sharmishtha, Guru Shukracharya, Kacha, Apsara Vishwachi and Madhavi. Kacha was steadfast and his love was brotherly and refused to marry lovely and aggressive Devayani. Sharmishtha was the princess-turned maid beating Devayani at her own game by marrying her husband Yayati. This got embroiled in the rivalry, jealousy, and passion between them whose doting fathers helplessly involved. Yayati asked his five sons for exchanging their youth as he was cursed by Guru Shukracharya but Puru accepted. His lust for pleasure continued and sported with Apsara Vishwachi and gave birth to Madhavi. The beloved Madhavi was blessed to turn as a virgin after giving each birth. She mothered four great Sages Ashtaka, Pratardana, Shibi Chakravarti and Vasumanas. Apsara Vishwachi made him realize the differences between the Quests for Immorality and Immortality as God has undecaying, infinite beauty alone. He understood and performed meritorious functions and reached Havens with Madhavi and her Sage sons. Sivkishen Ji lucidly dealt this Mythological storyline with visual imagery which makes the readers most interesting and fascinating and loves to chew, digest and remember for ages!

Glad someone recommended this to me. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Good, but not quite perfect. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Worth the time and money.

Really enjoyed this one. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Would probably read it again at some point.
