Im Baden-Badener Kurhaus prasentieren deutschsprachige Fernsehsender uber vier Tage verteilt aktuelle Fernsehfilme. Zwolf Filme nehmen am Wettbewerb teil und werden gleich nach der Vorfuhrung von einer Jury diskutiert, die am Ende des Festivals den Fernsehfilmpreis der Deutschen Akademie der Darstellenden Kunste vergibt. Einer der zwolf Wettbewerbsteilnehmer erhalt den 3sat-Zuschauerpreis. Die Jury verleiht weitere undotierte Sonderpreise an Darsteller, Drehbuchautoren und Regisseure. Ausserdem wird auf dem Festival der Nachwuchspreis MFG-Star Baden-Baden fur das Erstlings- oder Zweitlingswerk eines Nachwuchsregisseurs vergeben sowie der Hans Abich Preis fur besondere Verdienste im Bereich Fernsehfilm. Alle zwei Jahre geht der Rolf-Hans Muller Preis fur Filmmusik an einen jungen Filmmusik-Komponisten. Seit 1964 verleiht die Deutsche Akademie der Darstellenden Kunste einen Fernsehfilmpreis. Die Veranstaltung fand bis 1978 an wechselnden Orten statt und von 1979 bis 1989 im Filmmuseum Frankfurt. Auf Betreiben von Hans Abich, Gertraud Linz, Hermann und Lore Naber sowie Dietmar N. Finished it in a couple of days. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Will be looking for more from this author.
