Marguerite Bennett writes contemporary fiction and has always been fascinated by character-driven stories. Finished it in a couple of days. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. A solid 5/5 for me.

Pretty good overall. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Not bad at all.
