Overview: Cent anys després de la fundació del sistema bibliotecari de Catalunya, tenim el gust de reeditar una sèrie de textos d’Alexandre Galí que conformen un document imprescindible per entendre aquest projecte innovador de la Mancomunitat que ha arribat als nostres dies. Amb l’objectiu que tots els ciutadans tinguessin accés a una font de coneixement i al préstec de llibres, es va impulsar la creació de la Biblioteca de Catalunya, així com també de la xarxa de biblioteques populars, i es va posar en funcionament l’Escola de Bibliotecàries ideada per Eugeni d’Ors.Alexandre Galí va ser un dels protagonistes d’aquest moment tan important per a la història de la nostra cultura i els seus escrits són realment "pàgines viscudes" amb coneixements de primera mà. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Would probably read it again at some point.
