She sees the birthday cake and the table intact and remembers every sweet moment and her childhood inside that house and with her family suddenly, she finds a threatening note and discovers that her family's death was not an accident but a murder. When she is still wandering around the house, she hears the steps of someone sneaking inside looking for something and searching everywhere so she hides but the burglar sees her and runs after her. However, Amber is lucky to find a van driver who helps her out. The driver is an old man who works in fish delivery, she tells him her story and h offers help and shelter then he drives her back to the hospital where she finds out that Felix is awake and asking about her. The doctors tell her that he lost his memory but the only person he remembers was her and when she meets him, she finds out that he thinks she is his wife. When she gets out and goes to check on her sister, Amber suspects a stranger talking to Felix's mother who resembles the one she saw in her house and, spying on their conversation, Amber learns that Samantha was involved in the death of Amber's family as well and decides to take her sister somewhere safe but as she was about to take her to Ariana's house, that stranger knocked the door and says he was a friend of their father and gave them a ride home then starts stalking them. Felix accompanies Amber to his house and the latter loves the mansion so much and enjoys a romantic time with Felix before falling in the swimming pool but Logan saves her and she lives in there and works at the same time in fish delivery while searching the house secretly. One day, she was busted trying t open the safe and she got kicked out of the house and on her way back home she receives a call from her friend Ariana telling her that her sister was kidnapped by Liam that stalker and she spends a lot of time looking for her but in vain until the kidnapper calls her at the end.

Good, but not quite perfect. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Still a good book.

I was pleasantly surprised. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Would probably read it again at some point.

Not bad, but not my favorite. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. It's fine if you have nothing else to read.
