Overview: This book is a collection of the proceedings of the Third Case for Mars Conference, held at the University of Colorado in Boulder, between July 18 and 22, in the year 1987. The papers presented here are representative of the state of space exploration at the time of the Challenger disaster. Some of the papers hold up quite well over the past 25 year, as of the writing of this review, while others have been overtaken by intervening events. Noticeably missing is Dr. Robert Zubrin's Mars direct The Case for The Plan to Settle the Red Planet and Why We Must program, which is the basis for most current think on manned Mars expeditions. This is understandable since Dr. Zubrin proposed this in 1990, three years after the conference. All in all, this book is an interesting view of ideas for manned space exploration and development

Really enjoyed this one. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Glad I picked this up.

I have mixed feelings about this one. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Just right down the middle.
