Overview: Gray Barker (1925–84) was an American writer best known for his books about UFOs & other paranormal phenomena. His 1956 book They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers introduced the notion of the Men in Black. The concept of the Men in Black has become a major part of UFO lore. The book inspired a fictional comic book written by Lowell Cunningham, which in turn inspired a popular film & animated tv series. Barker himself became the subject of two documentary films: Whispers From Space (1995), which was created by The Last Prom, & Shades of Gray (2008), which was directed by Bob Wilkinson. Recent evidence indicates that he was skeptical of most UFO claims & mainly wrote about the paranormal for financial gain. He sometimes participated in hoaxes to deceive serious investigators.

I have mixed feelings about this one. It felt a bit repetitive in the middle. Could have been shorter. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

Really enjoyed this one. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

It was just alright. Some parts were interesting, while others were a bit of a slog to get through. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Will be looking for more from this author.
