Overview: I Fysioterapi, bevægelse og livsverden anlægges der et humanistisk fænomenologisk-hermeneutisk perspektiv på den fysioterapeutiske praksis. Bogen udfolder og sammenholder grundlæggende teorier om krop, bevægelse og livsverden med praksiserfaring fra forskellige fysioterapeutiske praksisfelter (fx rehabilitering, psykiatri, neurologi, pædiatri, forebyggelse og sundhedsfremme, undervisning).Hensigten med bogen er at inspirere læseren til at forstå, hvordan man som fysioterapeut kan anskue krop, bevægelse og livsverden i dette perspektiv. Bogens indhold giver også bud på, hvordan man kan arbejde kvalitativt i fysioterapeutisk undersøgelse, behandling, vejledning og undervisning. Antagelsen er, at det menneske, det handler om, vil opleve, at en sådan tilgang har en tæt sammenhæng med den livsverden, man lever i og dermed være meningsfuld.Når der i bogen argumenteres for et fænomenologisk-hermeneutisk fokus, er det ud fra den opfattelse, at krop, bevægelsesfærdigheder og identitet er involveret i alle aspekter af menneskets oplevelser og erfaringer. Sammenhængen mellem krop, bevægelse og livsverden har derfor også betydning for fysioterapeutens pædagogiske valg, når man behandler eller vejleder personen. Det gælder både ift. træning, genlæring af færdigheder, og når det drejer sig om at overkomme eller leve med en kronisk sygdom eller skade i rehabilitering.Bogen er målrettet studerende og undervisere på de fysioterapeutiske professionsuddannelser og kan anvendes fra første semester. Men den henvender sig også til studerende fra andre uddannelsesretninger med interesse for fysioterapi og bevægelse. Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Not bad at all.
