Overview: La nueva museología (o nuevas museologías), ciencia aplicada y de acción, cuya génesis y desarrollo se produce, en gran medida, debido a la crisis que el museo y la museología han venido sufriendo a lo largo del siglo XX, se enfrenta a la museología tradicional siendo producto del continua cambio que ha experimentado y experimenta día a día la institución museística. Existe una nueva museología porque existe un nuevo museo.Este libro, publicado en 1999 con el título «Introducción a la nueva museología», no era una mea introducción sino un estudio en profundidad de esta corriente de pensamiento que influyó notablemente en la museología y museografía de los años 80 y 90. Pretty good overall. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. A solid 4 stars from me.

I liked it for the most part. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Would probably read it again at some point.
