Overview: “Waiting for the Voo” is the story of a 13-year-old boy from Minnesota named Wilkin Delgado and a tug-o-war champion, gray-haired, exiled 14-year-old tattooed Missouri girl with serious anger issues by the name of Alice Jane Zelinski. Wilkin and Alice Jane join forces with an intergalactic, flip-flop wearing plumber named Cardamon Webb to fix a nasty sewage problem that threatens to destroy the universe. It was okay. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Just right down the middle.

I liked it for the most part. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. Still a good book.

Such a great read. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. A solid 5/5 for me.

Finished it in a couple of days. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Will be looking for more from this author.
