Overview: William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody (February 26, 1846 – January 10, 1917) was an American soldier, bison hunter and showman. He was born in the Iowa Territory (now the U.S. state of Iowa), in Le Claire but lived several years in Canada before his family moved to the Kansas Territory. Buffalo Bill received the Medal of Honor in 1872 for service to the US Army as a scout. One of the most colorful figures of the American Old West, Buffalo Bill became famous for the Wild West shows he organized with cowboy themes, which he toured in Great Britain and Europe as well as the United States.A full and complete history of the renowned pioneer quartette, Boone, Crockett, Carson and Buffalo Bill replete with graphic descriptions of wild life and thrilling adventures by famous heroes of the frontier. Really enjoyed this one. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Will be looking for more from this author.

An average read for me. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

Not bad, but not my favorite. It felt a bit repetitive in the middle. Could have been shorter. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
