Overview: Ni septembrsko jutro, je začetek julija, ki pa bi bil s tem, kar ponuja (nagubane plasti oblakov in hlad nekega drugega prostora in časa), lahko tudi začetek septembra, in ne berem Cankarjeve S poti, Izidorjeve, da ne bo pomote, ampak pesniško zbirko Veronike Dintinjana Rumeno gori grm forzicij in poskušam si priti na jasno, kako in zakaj sta se ti dve knjigi tako močno zbližali v mojem duhu. Klasičen prozni tekst na eni strani, na drugi pa pesniški prvenec, ki ima kot vsak pesniški prvenec pred sabo čisto negotovo in nepredvidljivo usodo. Potovanje. Mar ni, vsaj poezija, vedno potovanje. Potovanje ju druži in spaja, in pa seveda Italija. Možnost pobega (nerodna beseda). Nevidne roke, ki se dvignejo z listov papirja in prestavijo beročega nekem drugam, pri tem pa sploh ne zapusti sobe. Lahko začnemo na vlaku, ki pelje proti Trstu, ali pa preprosto z Alpami na koncu Celovške in z avtobusom. Lahko se dejansko premikamo ali pa se premika le drog avtobusne postaje in pa zvezde. Lahko seveda začnemo tudi na Fužinah, med potonikami in bloki, obvezno so zraven mačke, ki se menjajo na straži pred hladilnikom, da bi nas za horizontom čakali srebro oljk in San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Pompeji (imena, ki se kot medenjaki topijo na jeziku), in na koncu seveda Rdeča soba z Rothkovimi slikami v Tate Modern v Londonu. Allen Ginsberg je v elegiji za Franka O’Haro napisal, da je videl New York skozi njegove oči. Tudi jaz sem ponovno in drugače videl kraje, ki jih poznam, in tudi tiste, ki jih ne poznam, skozi oči Veronikine poezije. Celo rodilniške metafore, ki se mi zdijo hudo problematične, so v knjigi dobre, kar pomeni, da so nevidne. V najboljših pesmih pride do alkimističnega, finega spoja med pazljivim ravnanjem z jezikom in tistim, kar naj bi pesmi v končni fazi bile sposobne ponuditi; večplastno vsebino, ki je nekakšen skupek asociacij, ki se spajajo v vedno znova izmuzljiv pomen. Cankarjeva knjiga je klasika in bo ostala klasika. Kakšna bo usoda Rumeno gori grm forzicij, ne vem.
