Overview: Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun “klasik” devrinde mimarbaşı olarak yaklaşık yarım asırlık görev dönemi boyunca (1539-1588), Sinan’ın tasarladığı yüzlerce bina ve kendine özgü mimarî üslûp, Tuna’dan Dicle’ye kadar uzanan muazzam bir imparatorluk coğrafyasında kalıcı izler bıraktı. Gelmiş geçmiş en ünlü Osmanlı mimarı olarak tanınan Sinan, İstanbul’un dünyaca meşhur şehir siluetinin yeniden yapılanmasına katkıda bulundu. I have mixed feelings about this one. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Just right down the middle.
