Overview: Estamos ante una de las obras más importante que sobre Al Ándalus se han escrito. Por diversos motivos, su realidad histórica nunca fue adecuadamente abordada por la doctrina oficial, que se limitó a repetir aquello tan improbable de la supuesta invasión árabe de 711. El autor aborda, con una sorprendente erudición y una maravillosa claridad de lenguaje, la historiografía de una parte sustancial de la historia de España y de Europa, que no de los árabes. Not bad, but not my favorite. Some parts were interesting, while others were a bit of a slog to get through. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. A solid 5/5 for me.
