Overview: Nyáry Krisztián néhány évig költészettörténetet tanított a pécsi egyetemen, majd a 90-es évek közepén otthagyta a katedrát, azóta kommunikációs tanácsadóként dolgozik. Vezetett pr-ügynökséget és közvélemény-kutató intézetet, volt állami szervezet kommunikációs igazgatója, de a hobbija az irodalomtörténet maradt. 2012 elején barátainak kezdte publikálni a Facebookon magyar írók és művészek szerelemi életéről szóló képes etűdjeit, amivel néhány hónap alatt nagy népszerűségre tett szert. A barátoknak szánt bejegyzésekből Így szerettek ők címmel könyv lett, a kötetből pedig az elmúlt év egyik legnagyobb könyvsikere, amely elnyerte a XX. Budapesti Nemzetközi Könyvfesztivál Budai-díját és a Magyar Könyvtárosok Egyesülete Fitz József-könyvdíját is. A második könyvben újabb 40 magyar író és költő izgalmas, de kevesek által ismert párkapcsolati története szerepel. A szerző célja ezúttal is az, hogy az elmesélt szerelmei történetekkel kedvet csináljon a művek olvasásához. A very satisfying read. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

I have mixed feelings about this one. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.

It was just alright. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.
