Patrick Sauer writes contemporary fiction and has always been fascinated by character-driven stories. They hold a degree in English Literature and previously worked as an editor before transitioning to writing their own books. Patrick Sauer lives with their spouse and a very vocal rescue cat.
It was just alright. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

Glad someone recommended this to me. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Such a great read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Glad I picked this up.
