Overview: For sixty years, Jewish refugees and their descendants have prospered in the Federal District of Sitka, a "temporary" safe haven created in the wake of revelations of the Holocaust and the shocking 1948 collapse of the fledgling state of Israel. An average read for me. Some parts were interesting, while others were a bit of a slog to get through. It's fine if you have nothing else to read.

Finished it in a couple of days. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. A solid 5/5 for me.

I liked it for the most part. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Not bad at all.
