Overview: As a SEAL on combat deployment in Iraq, Mike Ritland saw a military working dog in action and instantly knew he’d found his true calling. While the SEAL teams had used dogs in the past, they never had dogs trained specifically by SEALs for SEALs. A solid read. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
