La primera parte está dedicada a un ánálisis teórico del constructo de las habilidades sociales y a la descripción teórica y práctica de los numerosos componentes no verbales que componen las habilidades sociales. Una segunda parte aborda las técnicas de evaluación de dichas habilidades y, finalmente, una tercera parte se dedica al entrenamiento de las mismas. El libro constituye una lectura obligada para toda aquella persona interesada en el comportamiento social humano, especialmente desde una perspectiva clínica. Vicente E. Caballo obtuvo el doctorado en Psicología por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Actualmente es Profesor Titular de Psicopatología en la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad de Granada. Tiene distintas publicaciones en revistas españolas y extranjeras, siendo compilador del Manual de técnicas de terapia y modificación de conducta (1991) y (con G. Buela-Casal) del Manual de psicología clínica aplicada (1991). Asimismo es director de la revista Psicología Conductual. Sus intereses actuales se centran en las técnicas de terapia de conducta, en el campo de las relaciones interpersonales y en los trastomos de la personalidad.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.
