Overview: Enoch Arnold Bennett was a British novelist.His most famous works are the Clayhanger trilogy, The Card and The Old Wives' Tale. These books draw on his experience of life in the Potteries, as did most of his best work. The Card is a short comedic novel written by Arnold Bennett in 1911. Such a great read. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. A solid 5/5 for me.

A very satisfying read. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
