Texto e imagem dialogam um com o outro, sofrem mutações na leitura, e despertam no "legente" o desejo do encontro com esse desconhecido que o chama e atrai ("Procura a página que te fala"), que o sossega e perturba ("___ Do fim para o princípio lê-se de uma maneira; / Do princípio para o fim lê-se de outra."), que lhe mostra como o caminho da leitura se faz na atenção que não separa "ver e ler" ("Há uma leitura a fazer, na jarra e em todos os lugares / Da falha. Nesse caminho a descobrir que não finda, / O texto escreve-se nos olhos. A qualidade da imagem / Nua dispõe o real em consequência."; "Ver o que ainda se / Não conhece é uma rara particularidade / _____ que, por vezes, arrasa."). Se falamos em linhagens, quando pensamos em autores / textos que "convergem", também podemos ver linhagens e convergência nas linhas de um texto e nas de um desenho que o acompanha. Nessa "sobreimpressão" consolidam-se identidades, ainda que não se procure saber "quem sou" mas "quem me chama" ("escrever é aceitar que o chamamento, / Vindo de longe, transforma - Ninguém em cada um de / Nós -, à medida que se aproxima."). O texto chama a imagem, a imagem chama o texto, e cada um é um ser ímpar nesse elo ("Magníficos os espíritos / Que se cruzam sem espada / E com bondade. Grande / A generosidade / Que os habita."). O texto pensa, faz perguntas, e o desenho responde e lança novas questões, num eterno começo. Quem lê encontra-se num Lugar privilegiado - o de quem pode ver / ler a intensidade do "ambo texto-imagem". Such a great read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
