Overview: James: Mercy Triumphs - Member Book by Beth Moore provides a personal study experience five days a week plus viewer guides for the 8 video sessions of this in-depth women's Bible study. James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. I was pleasantly surprised. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Glad I picked this up.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Glad I picked this up.

Good, but not quite perfect. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. A solid 4 stars from me.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. Still a good book.
