Al Jamea tus Saifiyah is a celebrated part of the Fatemi Educational Heritage developed primarily to meet the reqirements of high level of perfection attained by the Fatemi civilization, and centered round the great Al-Azhar Mosque. The institute holds fast to its prime objective of promoting an intensive, meticulous training of the Quran, Islamic sciences, and Arabic language and literature. Jamea is essentially a residential Academy. Instructions, lodging and boarding are all free. Another notable feature is that students are given opportunities to get practical experience while under training, during the months of Ramazan and Moharrum ul Haram. The course of study is stretched over a period of eleven years and is divided into three phases. The first phase comprises four years and comprehends as many as 55 subjects.
